Entrepreneur Miki Agrawal and Her Latest Venture
Miki Agrawal, a disruptor, has tried to influence American culture several times. WILD, a gluten-free pizza restaurant, was where she started her quest. She went on to develop THINX, a firm that makes recyclable menstrual underpants and gives pads to Ugandan schoolgirls. TUSHY is her newest project. It creates inexpensive, modern bidet accessories for restrooms and other environmentally friendly bathroom goods.
According to Miki Agrawal, using toilet paper leads to health issues such as UTIs, hemorrhoids, yeast infections, anal fissures, and anal itching. Because every year, the production of toilet paper kills millions of trees in the United States alone, traditional TP is a nightmare for the environment.
Agrawal has published two popular books, Do Cool Sh*t and DisruptHer, in addition to operating her thriving enterprises by breaching taboos. She is also a mom, wife, and identical twin sister to Daybreaker, the founder of Radha Agrawal. Fast Company’s Most Creative People, the World Economic Forum’s Young Global Leaders, and Inc. magazine’s Most Impressive Women Entrepreneurs have all honored her.
Miki Agrawal mentioned in an interview that she has always enjoyed examining things that don’t make sense. She wondered why we wipe ourselves with dry toilet paper when it doesn’t actually clean us before inventing TUSHY. She came up with a solution that will save us money, as well as our health, hygiene, and trees. A simple attachable bidet that attaches into our toilet was her idea.
TUSHY can be installed in less than 10 minutes and costs less than $100. Consumers recover their money within three months if they reduce their toilet paper usage. TUSHY also benefits the environment. It has saved approximately 5 million trees from being cut down for toilet paper consumption so far.
In every role, Miki Agrawal advises aspiring change makers that in every role, there will always be chores that feel monotonous. However, those experiences are crucial in developing core strengths for a new skill set.
