He holds another position in the North American meat institute as the chairman. In addition to this, he formally served as an independent director at Marfrig Global Food S.A. This was between the year 2008 and 2017 when the branches of OSI Group in Europe and Brazil were acquired by Marfrig Frigoríficos e Comércio de Alimentos. He is a holder of a degree in animal science from Lowa University.
